Read Versiff Legend Beginnings and Versiff Legend: the legend unfolds first. I have changed the base title for various reasons. Questions, see me!
As Rozine stood there, Gatochi wondered how she could know so much about him just by looking at him. She a red short-sleeved shirt and orange pants. Her long blue-green boots rose up just below her knee. She wore blue-green gloves that rose up to her elbows and both her boots and her gloves were lined with a white stripe. Two red straps crossed over her chest in an X-shape acting as armor and she wore a blue-green belt.
“Aqualarian?” Gatochi asked, wondering what she meant by that.
“THAT would be what race I am. Do you think a normal person would have a scaly head and a tail?” She said sternly.
“What were those creatures chasing you?” Gatochi asked in a very curious matter.
“Those were scout ghouls. They are foot soldiers who have taken over my kingdom of Aqualaria.” Rozine explained, wagging her fish-like ponytail. “It may not seem like it, but I am the princess of Aqualaria.”
“You sure don’t act like any princess I ever heard of.” Gatochi muttered quietly.
“WHAT DID YOU SAY?!” Rozine shouted, wearing a vicious expression on her face.
As she stepped violently towards Gatochi, Gatochi waved his hands in front of his deformed face and nervously stuttered, “N-nothing… uh, nothing at all. You’re a FINE princess, yes, yes, never heard of a better one. Boy, would I be DEAD wrong if I said you were rotten.”
Rozine stopped advancing towards him and barked, “That’s what I thought you said.” She paused to calm down, taking a deep breath. Rozine continued. “Back to what we were talking about earlier, I need to build up an army to battle the monsters that took over the kingdom.”
“Where are you going to find an army?” Gatochi asked.
“Well.” Rozine said. “I’ll start with you, then we’ll recruit an army of the strongest warriors from all of Terrasiff to battle the ghouls to the death.”
“Me?!” Gatochi asked, pointing at himself and leaning forward. “Hold on a minute! I can’t fight at night, I turn into a cat.”
“You do, huh?” Rozine replied. “Then you’d be a good night spy. Just turn into your cat thing and spy on people. Say, why do you turn into a cat anyway?”
“I’m not sure.” Gatochi started to speak again when he was interrupted by a large BOOM!
“Looks like trouble, come on!” Rozine commanded quickly. Gatochi and Rozine drew their weapons and ran towards the sound. They rushed through the dense forest and arrived at a clearing. A red-haired man holding a wizards staff and wearing a black robe stood above many corpses of scout ghouls. His short, unruly red hair blew slightly in the wind as he turned to face Gatochi. He had an aged, solid face, befitting a knight rather than a wizard.
“What was that sound?” Rozine asked as Gatochi and herself walked out into the clearing.
“The sound you heard was my Lightning Spell. I cast the spell to defeat these foul creatures.” The man explained. “I am Baboushi. I am a sorcerer originating from the grand city of Yorxus. I am very knowledgeable about the legends, myths, lifestyles, lands, and cities of Terrasiff.”
“You’re from YORXUS! That’s where all the famous people are from!” Rozine exclaimed.
“Well, I wouldn’t know about famous, but some pretty successful people have come out of there.” Baboushi replied.
Gatochi looked around the clearing. “Say, we’re recruiting members for an army to take out the scout ghouls at Aqualaria, and we do need a knowledgeable person to guide us. What do you say to joining our army?” he asked.
“I would like to guide you. Especially since you, young man, are afflicted by the Black Cat’s Curse.” Baboushi answered.
“You know what this thing is?” Gatochi asked. “Tell me! What is it?”
Baboushi was silent. He frowned, showing stern dimples on the edges of his mouth. He closed his eyes and walked towards the edge of the clearing.
“Well… what is it? I have the right to know myself.” Gatochi yelled.
“You’re not ready for the information.” Baboushi said.
Rozine strode up and gave Baboushi a hard shove. “Listen! We hired you to give us information, and we want to know what the Black Cat’s Curse is.”
“But it’s too much for you to understand.” Baboushi said. “Now, it’s getting late. We need to make camp.”
Later that evening, when the sun was setting and the birdworm was being cooked, Gatochi decided it was time to talk one-on-one with Baboushi. Rozine had taken off her boots and let her tiny feet wade in the river. Gatochi walked up to Baboushi and said, “Look, I know you think that this curse is too much for me to handle, but I need to know, what is so terrible? Where did I get it? How did I get it? What does it do?”
Baboushi gave a deep breath and replied, “You think it’s just a piece of info when it’s really a nightmare waiting to happen. But I will tell you anyway. You do need to know.” He gave another deep sigh. “I knew your mother and father. Your REAL mother and father. They were killed by the Black Cat’s Curse five minutes after you were born. To obtain this curse, a devil named Lujin has the mysterious ability to turn into a black cat, walk across your path, and give everyone whose path it interrupted the Black Cat’s Curse. As one would know, the Three Devils of Terrasiff are the Pig Devil, the Boulder Devil, and Lujin, the Bad Luck Devil. When, one day, they are all defeated, the entrance to the Puresword will open. The Puresword is a weapon that can vanquish all evil. Anyway, Lujin crossed your parents’ path when they were holding a newborn you. All of you got the Black Cat’s Curse.” He paused. “Five minutes later, your parents died. During those five minutes, they named you and gave you to Captain Kraken.”
“Well, why didn’t I die?” Gatochi asked.
“That’s what I was hoping you wouldn’t inquire.” Baboushi said. “It is because they loved. You see, when one is afflicted with the Black Cat’s Curse they can never fall in love, for if you were to slightly love a woman, a part of your body would shrivel up and become weak. That will slowly happen until your entire body shrivels up. When you share true loves first kiss, you and the woman who kissed you will die. Your parents loved each other. You were too young to love. As a matter of fact, you were hardly a minute old.”
“So, I can never love?” Gatochi asked, and Baboushi nodded. “Well, is there a cure?”
“The only possible cure is to kill Lujin the Bad Luck Devil. You will still be left with the mark, but you will be able to love without fear.” Baboushi answered.
That night, as Gatochi had turned into a cat and laid on Rozine's lap, he wondered if he ever really wanted to know what the curse was. Rozine said, “Your life will be hard, won’t it? We’ll be heading to Lagastia to look for a friend of mine. She can lead us to the best fighter around. He’ll kill your devil.”
Don’t worry! This may be the last installment for the blog, but I just might write the whole thing, including what comes after this, later as a series! Be looking forward to the possibility!

Hazard safari haikus
A giant tree frog
Climbs up a gigantic tree
To eat the monkeys.
A flamingo chased
Us throughout the dense jungle.
We barely escaped!
Hippopotamus
Groups cornered us between
A rock and a hard place.

The Dendori
The great Dendori
Towers over the forest
Splitting trees with claws.
The Dendori is
Two hundred feet tall and has
Grand amounts of strength.
The beak of the beast
Is filled with razor sharp teeth.
She’s headed for town!
Her elbows are armed
With blades to stab and slice her
Target easily.
The bizarre head crest
Is a regal sight to behold.
It strides through the night.
Her neck, torso, arms,
Tail and legs have sharp scales
Made to protect her.
A nightmarishly
Black body with black dorsal
Plates terrorize us.
Dendori reaches
Town and begins rampaging
Causing sheer terror!
She leaves her dark mark
On the town, mercy not shown,
Clawing and smashing.
Just when all seems lost,
And the town is in ruins,
Light shines from above.
Mysterious light
Makes Dendori melt away,
Never to return.
Darkness can be strong,
But light will overcome it.
Don’t give up all hope!

Story of the Enslaved
The Enslaved were a race of tentacled creatures who went under no particular name. They had glowing eyes that helped them see in the dark like a cat's eye would. They may have looked like the very things from nightmares, but in fact, they didn't stand up for themselves very often. They weren't the kind of creatures that would show anger. As a matter of fact, they were very shy.
One day, the men took advantage of their many limbs and abilities to see in the dark to enslave them. The men made them mop floors, clean rooms, tend to fields, and the Enslaved never had the courage to stand up for themselves. To this day they work and do whatever their masters tell them to do. Remember to stand up for yourself.

Water writings
As the waves roll by
I see with my eye
The white caps of desperation.
They are desperate for the station
Of happiness, the right
To be on top of the endless fight,
This endless strife
We call life.
A red object drifts
In the lake as if on lifts.
What could it be?
We’ll wait and see.
The lake travels for miles,
But I can see the end.
I see with my eye
The white caps of desperation.
They are desperate for the station
Of happiness, the right
To be on top of the endless fight,
This endless strife
We call life.
A red object drifts
In the lake as if on lifts.
What could it be?
We’ll wait and see.
The lake travels for miles,
But I can see the end.
The Five Planets
Once, in a galaxy lightyears from our own, there were five planets. The planets were named as follows; Planet Orange, named for it's orange appearance, Planet Green, the green planet that was noticably small, Planet Blue, the blue giant of them all, Planet Red, the crimson giant looming above Planet Orange, and the barely noticable, Planet Black. Planet Black was small, but it loomed above all of the Five Planets with overwhelming power. For now, we will just list them as Blue, Orange, Red, Black, and Green.Green was the least in power. You see, the higher the Five Planets are in altitude, the more powerful they are in rank. It was a rule in the galaxy dictated by custom that a planet only gets its power from its position above the rest. Black used its powers to spread terror. Red used its power to create rocky lands. Blue used its power to create oceans and waters across the galaxy. Orange created heat and scientific elements, while Green created nature, plants, and forests across the galaxy.
One day, Green realized that in The Solar System, Earth was suffering from pollution, and Blue also realized that water was suffering the same cruel fate. Red realized that the minerals it created during many years' work have been slowly replaced by buildings and other structures. Orange learned the Ozone Layer it worked so hard on was gradually being destroyed. Black didn't care. Black had exactly what he worked hard for. Green was disgusted, while Red was furious. Blue was shocked, while Orange was fuming.
Orange, Red, Green, and Blue decided that the Five Planets and the entire custom of Altitude Rule shall be no more! With all their might, they absorbed all of Black's energy, and destroyed every last bit of that foul energy, so it could not absorb it back. Black was left weary as the others are doing their best to help the Planets Harmed By Black. Maybe one day, we will be saved too.
